We’re hiring: Content Marketing Manager

The Content Marketing Manager loves to write and is damned good at it. You will produce lots and lots of marketing collateral. Web copy, PowerPoint decks, emails, white papers, blog posts, social-media campaigns, infographics and more. You will help define our demand-gen strategy and then produce the content that feeds this beast.

Hopscotch isn’t your typical tech company where the management team doesn’t care much about your pretty, little words. Our management team genuinely cares about messaging and positioning. We have a top-shelf design team that does amazing visual work, and we are looking to elevate our messaging to the same level.

This position reports to the Director of Marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Copywriting and editing B2B sales and marketing materials.
  • Day-to-day ownership of social media.
  • Generating interesting angles and ideas that resonate with our core audience of marketers in the sports and live-events industries.
  • Executing marketing campaigns using HubSpot marketing automation.
  • Helping to define our demand-gen and content-marketing strategies, as well as our editorial calendar.
  • Managing the approval process, from concept through to final product.


  • Must submit a cover letter and include at least three B2B writing samples.
  • Must have strong writing skills and proven ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Proven ability to create content that drives leads.
  • Must be able to translate technical jargon into easy-to-understand copy. Knowledge of any of the following industry sectors is a big plus: sports/event marketing, digital and mobile marketing, and social media.
  • Day-to-day marketing-automation experience (HubSpot, Pardot, Marketo or Eloqua) is a plus.
