The Sales & Marketing Operations Manager will be the power user of our HubSpot Marketing Automation and CRM systems, as well as analytics platforms such as Flurry and Google Analytics. You will be our data and metrics guru, responsible for making sure that our systems are properly set up, that we’ve automated processes where we can and that we’ve built the right dashboards for the Sales, Marketing and Management teams.

The successful candidate will be a strongly self-motivated and driven individual who is detail-oriented, methodical and conscientious when it comes to data, but able to think strategically about how to track and measure against our business goals. This position reports to the Director of Marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand both the sales and marketing funnels, and determine how we need to customize HubSpot to meet operational and reporting needs.
  • Define our database structure in Hubspot to make sure we are tracking the right information.
  • Support sales reps as it relates to technical aspects of HubSpot CRM.
  • Help administer commission programs.
  • Present sales and marketing performance results to management.
  • Import and export .csv files, with extreme attention to detail and data quality.
  • Write automation rules on both the marketing automation and CRM sides of the house.
  • Analyze data and build dashboards, both in HubSpot and Microsoft Excel.
  • Help define and implement lead scoring.
  • Manage the backend for marketing campaigns, such as creating email templates and landing pages, and making sure that the right tags and automation rules are in place to track the success of each tactic.


  • Experience using CRM and marketing automation systems, such as Salesforce, Marketo, Pardot and HubSpot. HubSpot Certification is a big plus. We are looking for candidates who have been deeply involved with day-to-day data management and automation workflows, not people who have only used the tool to send emails and build landing pages.
  • Experience creating, producing and updating pipeline and funnel reports for Sales management.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, with experience performing Vlookups, using pivot tables, performing sophisticated analyses and building dashboards that tell a compelling story.
