LOS ANGELES and ORLANDO (UCFKnights.com) — UCF Athletics and Hopscotch, a mobile-technology leader for sports and live events, launched the school’s first-ever mobile app dedicated to athletics. The UCF Knights app is free and available for immediate download on iOS and Android.
“With such a young, digitally-savvy fan and alumni base, we knew we needed a way to engage fans on mobile,” said Eric DeSalvo, Director of Digital and Social Media for UCF Athletics. “Our Athletics Director Danny White has a progressive mindset and tasked us with delivering a better digital experience for fans than ever before.”

UCF became one of a handful of NCAA Division I schools that have taken autonomous control of their digital media rights when their agreement expired with their prior agency. They are now selling all digital media properties with their own internal team.
